UHS remains committed, on both a local and national level, to raising awareness about mental health and substance use issues, replacing stigma with hope. We pledge to continue to work with Governor Wolf, state agencies, county mental health programs and the Legislature to enhance access to mental health services in the Commonwealth.
In the Commonwealth, UHS employs interdisciplinary treatment teams of clinicians and staff at ten Behavioral Health facilities that offer high quality, compassionate care in a 24/7 setting, serving individuals with special and sometimes complex, mental health needs.
